Bath Time...Very Interesting...

It has been few months’ back when I took photos of Daniel taking his bath. So I decided to shoot some to be added in his album. My sister offered to bath Daniel this time, and I’ll be the photographer. Now let's see what mommy had took.

I got the laughs of my life when I took these photos. This time he did some very very funny expressions. Oh my... we kept on laughing in the bathroom. Daniel seems to understand that his acts were funny and kept on doing it. Daniel oh Daniel...don't ask me how he did it...I didn't teach him and never show him any pictures with these expressions. Maybe he born to be a joker. LOL...

Best Mom Award

I received this very special award from Caroline. And I have to say that I am honored and feel truly blessed as being a mother is one of the greatest things I’ve done in my life. Thanks dear for this award. I’ll try to be the best mother I can be.

The rules:
1. Show the award logo in your post.
2. Pick a picture you have with your kiddo(s).
3. Post should include your best experience as a Mom.
4. Nominate other blogger mom's out there that you consider the best mom, like yourself.

Being a mother is really an amazing and challenging journey for me. There are lots of stories to share with but watching Daniel grows up day by day and achieved those little and big milestones is one of the most rewarding parts of being a mother. Everyday I’ll wait to see what his new development is and how he is going to react to certain things. I can't ever imagine Daniel not being a part of my life. My life has been enriched by him.

I would like to pass the award to all the mommies in my blog roll. Every mother deserved such kind of recognition.

CNY Celebration

This year Chinese New Year celebration was the first for Daniel. It was also the “adventure” experience for me and Cyril as this was the first time we traveled with our little one. Just imagine the car was packed with Daniel’s stuffs. From formula milk to pampers, toys to clothes just for 4 days stay at my mom’s kampong – Tenom (3 hours journey from KK). But we took 4 hours to arrive our destination – baby on board!

We expected that Daniel will keep on crying and unable to sleep because of the new environment and new faces (He never met some of my cousins who are staying in Tenom and Sarawak). But things turn out the other way round. He didn’t cry at all and slept very well day and night! We were lucky enough that he didn’t show any of his crankiness…

Every year we will go back to Tenom to celebrate CNY. I can say that it is a big family gathering for us because my QQs and their family also will be there. We stayed under one roof – 6 families all together. We had our lunch and dinner together everyday during our stay.

This year celebration was much merrier as there were two additions in the family – Daniel and his one year old uncle. Both of them were born in 2008 two months apart. Oh..nephew and uncle…..next year there’ll be two naughty monkeys running here running there…

In Tenom, we wore only t-shirt and short, very simple as you can see in the pix. We never buy new clothes just to celebrate CNY. We’ll re-wear our Christmas attires. Why need to spend to get those fancy and expensive clothes. No one will even notice if you wear prada here. That’s one thing I love about kampong besides the clean and fresh weather.

Will Be Back

Dear friends and relatives,

Just came back from my mom's kampung last Thursday. However, regret to inform you all that I won't be able to update my blog so soon as my father-in-law has passed away last Saturday.

I'll be back once everything settled...

Wish you all Happy Chap Goh Mei...
